Life can be hard. Life in ministry can be even harder. Life for leaders who lead strong can be the hardest. When one leads, wounds happen. Wounds can cause one to shrink from one’s calling.
These are the realities The Rev. Dr. Jen Wilson holds in tension, and helps the reader identify and name. She uses her own experiences and the wisdom she has gained, to help the reader be seen, heard, and valued. She then offers small doses of life-giving wisdom, reminders, and handles so that the leader who has been sidelined or has removed oneself, can begin the journey back to a place to live and lead again. This is more than a book. It is a companion to help the leader be renewed in short powerful doses, so that the leader believes she or he can live again.

I would recommend this for anyone. Some are aware of the way life and leadership has wounded them, and others are not. When wounds happen most feel sidelined and broken. This valuable resource is like eighty-two life giving doses of healing balm and leadership strengthening vitamins. Jen offers these in such a way that the reader is not only seen, but engaged and encouraged. This book is for anyone.  Get your healing doses and be challenged to get back in the game and live again!
